- Required in cases under:
- Domestic Violence Act
- Section 125 CrPC
- Hindu Marriage Act
- Maintenance Proceedings
- The affidavit must disclose:
- Income from all sources
- Bank accounts and investments
- Movable and immovable properties
- Monthly expenses and liabilities
- Standard of living and lifestyle
Purpose: To ensure fair and transparent determination of maintenance.
Failure to disclose true income may result in adverse inference by the Court.
